The Definitive Arms Short Action, DASA, rifle is a new take on bolt action rifles. Taking the tried and true 700 action and integrating the best features from the AR-15. The DASA Rifle comes fully equipped with premium AR components from BCM and B5 Systems. Versatility, modularity, and familiarity are core principles behind the DASA's design. Hunters, target shooters, and professionals benefit from the reliable precision of a bolt action mixed with the height over bore and familiar feel of an AR-15. The DASA allows the end user the ability to tailor their rifle to their needs while removing excess bulk found on other chassis rifles.

• Custom work and accurization as follows:
  • Receiver face trued in Lathe.
  • Barrel converted to Remage pattern and receiver threads trued to bore.
  • Recoil lug replaced with DASA precision ground hardened recoil lug.
  • Headspace set to match grade tolerances for repeatable accuracy.
  • Barrel installed and headspaced with DASA precision ground BBL nut.
  • Bolt lugs and raceways polished for smooth operation.
  • Striker assembly polished and black oxided for smoother operation and corrosion resistance.
  • Ejector, Ejector Spring, and Striker Spring black oxided for extra corrosion resistance.
  • Bolt handle threaded 5/16-24 TPI
  • DASA 3-groove bolt knob installed on bolt.
  • Barrel installed via proprietary process to ensure chamber is in line with the bolt center line. Improves accuracy.
